Simon Pilkington

Simon is an “ideas man” and a passionate start-up founder and investor.

Simon Pilkington founded Technium in 2013 and was the business’s sole employee at inception. Since then, he’s steered the growth and evolution of the company and today, Technium boasts a rapidly-expanding team of more than 30. His love of technology and innovation has seen him launch several successful fintech companies that support customers across the globe. Previously working as a Marketing Director at another forex broker, he built a comprehensive understanding of the foreign exchange industry and used this insight to grow the brand into one of the world’s largest forex brokers.

Simon holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Aided Engineering and is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Kenneth Ho

As a member of Technium’s Board, Kenneth Ho plays a key role in setting the future direction of our company.

Having joined Technium as Finance Manager in 2015, today Kenneth provides our risk and finance functions with high-level strategic guidance and advice on managing clients’ market exposure. Before Technium, Kenneth worked as an Accountant for one of Australia’s largest and most respected foreign exchange brokers. His detailed understanding of how forex businesses operate allows him to provide our team with valuable stakeholder insights and ensure our products lead the market in meeting client and user needs.

Kenneth holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne and is a Chartered Accountant. He’s fluent in English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Malay.

Sayaka Igarashi

Sayaka Igarashi joined Technium in 2015, tasked with leveraging her forex expertise and networks to grow our business.

Today, her focus is on guiding our team to develop our partner relationships and ensure we continue to innovate and expand our offerings to meet evolving market needs. Prior to her role at Technium, Sayaka spent five years in paralegal roles in both Australia and Japan. She joined a forex start-up in 2011 as its first employee and spent four years learning about foreign exchange and building strong networks across the forex industry. Today, it is one of the world’s largest forex brokers.

Sayaka holds a Bachelor of Law and is fluent in English, Japanese and Italian.

Nardia Vescovi-Diss works with Technium’s leadership team to manage our day-to-day operations to set and execute the strategy for our constantly-evolving business.

Her focus is on ensuring we have the right people, tools, infrastructure and technology in place to meet our growth aspirations now and into the future. Nardia has an extensive background in human resources management across a range of industries, including General Management and Executive levels. She believes that success begins with having the right team in place and is passionate about investing in our people to allow them to achieve their potential and provide our clients with industry-leading customer service.

Nardia’s impressive strategic and operational knowledge and collaborative approach allow her to successfully balance stakeholder demands and operational imperatives with a consistent focus on continuous improvement and innovation.

Adam Giles is an experienced Product Manager who works with Technium’s clients and partners to ensure our products deliver a seamless user experience.

From optimising the design and flow of existing applications to implementing new product features and services to enhance the overall user experience, Adam drives his team to deliver innovation that responds to our stakeholder’s evolving needs.

With more than 20 years of experience helping organisations across the globe to design and deliver a superior product experience, Adam’s career spans roles in software development, project management and technical product management. His diverse background gives him a comprehensive understanding of stakeholder priorities and challenges and the ability to assess solutions from both a technical and non-technical perspective.

Adam holds a Masters in Computer Systems Engineering from Kings College London, and is Prince2 and Scrum certified.

Takiko Mano works with Technium’s Client Support team to ensure we deliver an exceptional customer experience to our clients.

As one of our first employees, Takiko’s role has grown in size and complexity since our business’s inception. She’s constantly looking for ways to optimise our client service offering, create engaged and loyal users, and drive growth.

Takiko has more than a decade of experience in customer support and a strong command of best practice customer service. Her learnings from roles with leading travel and foreign exchange brands in both Australia and Japan allow her to collaborate with colleagues across our business to further elevate the service we provide.

Takiko is fluent in English and Japanese.

Minako Kikuchi

Finance and Operations

Minako Kikuchi oversees our Finance and Risk Management function to ensure that Technium’s clients enjoy a safe, secure and accurate trading environment.

With responsibility for proactively monitoring and managing our clients’ trades, exposure and adherence to their risk management policies, Minako and her team support Technium’s clients to maximise their profits while managing their risk.

She also works closely with our client support and software development teams to make improvements to our internal systems, and manages our relationships with technology providers to ensure system performance is optimised.

Prior to joining the Technium team, Minako performed an accounts / back office role for a small forex brokerage, giving her substantial insight into the industry.

Mihiran Rupasinghe

Software Engineering Supervisor

Mihiran Rupasinghe is responsible for the planning, execution and management of Technium’s proprietary software solutions.

He works with our leadership team, product owners, partners and clients to ensure these solutions continue to respond to evolving market and user needs and support Technium’s growth strategy. Before joining Technium, Mihiran worked as a software engineer and built his knowledge in technical aspects such as software development, technical operation and solution design, along with team management and planning. As the leader of our Software Development team, he’s focused on identifying and clearing roadblocks for his people and working cross-functionally to implement efficient and effective software solutions.

Mihiran holds a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science.
